Since its launch in 2000, TCP’s Hi-T500 compact tracked dumper has found many friends in the building, construction and landscaping industries. The powerful combination of diesel engine drive, rugged build quality, and the ability to reach the tightest of spots has proven to be a major asset to anyone involved in earth moving. With a 500kg capacity, the ability to tip to 1200mm high (the height of a standard skip), and fit through a standard doorframe, this is a versatile machine with many uses on site.
Over its life, it has benefitted from a number of upgrades including a two-speed transmission for precise control in confined spaces and difficult ground conditions, plus a 4km/h top speed on flat ground. The other major improvement has been a reduction in noise levels aided by a fibreglass engine cowl, acoustic liner and downward exhaust. This has reduced the LWA figure to 99 – well within the requirements for mobile plant machinery.
Powered by a 10hp electric-start Kubota diesel engine, there is hydraulic oil cooling to ensure reliability in a range of challenging work environments. Petrol options are also available on request.

As with the majority of TCP’s fleet, special attention has been paid to reducing harmful HAV (Hand Arm Vibration). Special mounts have reduced felt vibration by 20% and every effort has been made to ensure user safety.
